Dr Urbi Ghosh Bhattacharjee is an Associate Professor & Head of Institutional Compliance and Research at IIAS School of Management, Siliguri Campus. She is a distinguished educator and the first PhD holder in mass communication and journalism from the entire North Bengal region of West Bengal. With over 12 years of experience in the field of Mass Communication and Journalism, she has earned a reputation as a leading academic in the discipline. Dr. Bhattacharjee has contributed extensively to national and international fora, having presented at more than 20 conferences, seminars, and workshops.

She brings valuable experience from both college- and university-level teaching. She is deeply committed to nurturing and guiding students through their academic and research endeavours. An avid writer and skilled communicator, Dr. Bhattacharjee has developed a keen ability to impart complex knowledge to her students and peers.
